Scheduled reports
A scheduled report is a question you ask Isara once and then let it answer on its own, on a set rhythm, and send to the people who need it.
What a scheduled report is
Every run, Isara answers your question over the period you choose, exactly as it would answer an Ask Isara question in the app. It reads the conversations for that window, uses your dashboard metrics for the numbers, and cites the conversations behind each point.
You write the question and the schedule. Isara does the rest, then delivers the finished report to a distribution list at the day and time you set. A report can run daily, weekly, or monthly, and cover anything from the last day to the last 90.
You will find scheduled reports under Reports and Alerts, on the Scheduled Reports tab.
How to create one
Open the Scheduled Reports tab and select New Report. That opens the report form, where each field maps to one decision.
- Name the report. A short title, for example "Weekly digest". This is how the report appears in your list.
- Write the question for Isara. Ask for exactly what you want in plain language, the same way you would in Ask Isara. Be specific about the sections and the evidence you expect.
- Set the frequency, day, and time.Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. Weekly reports also take a day of the week; all of them take a run time.
- Choose the period it covers. Set Covering the last to the number of days each run should look at, anywhere from 1 to 90.
- Confirm the timezone. The run time follows this timezone, so the report lands when your team starts the day.
- Send it to a distribution list. Pick who receives it. Distribution lists are managed on the Distribution Lists tab.
- Leave it enabled and select Create. The report saves and starts running on its schedule. Toggle it off any time to pause it without deleting it.
Starting from a template
If you would rather not write the question from scratch, use one of the Suggested reports at the top of the tab. Each is a proven report with the question, frequency, and coverage window already filled in.
- Daily briefing. Yesterday's issues, anything needing follow-up, and the key numbers.
- Weekly digest. A Monday-morning read on the week: headline, satisfaction, topics, at-risk customers, growth signals, and actions.
- Weekly topics and pain points. What customers contacted you about, what frustrated them, and what to fix.
- Monthly agent coaching report. Per-agent performance, skill gaps with real examples, and suggested coaching actions.
Select a template and the report form opens with everything pre-filled. Adjust the name, question, schedule, or coverage to suit you, choose the distribution list, then select Create. Nothing is saved until you do.
Managing saved reports
Saved reports sit below the templates, each showing its schedule, coverage, recipients, and last-run status. From there you can run a report now, edit its settings, or delete it. A green Last run: sent tells you the most recent run went out.
